1983 Star Co. 83 All-Stars

Star Company Basketball Cards were the only licensed NBA cards being produced during the mid-1980s. They were sold in hobby shops by team in sealed, transparent plastic bags. This was the first ever set issued by Star and the only set labeled with "Star 83".
