The 1980 Topps set consists of 176 perforated cards, totalling 264 different individual athletes. The set contains the official rookie cards for both Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. The design of these loosely resembles the Topps Trios sticker inserts from their 1971 set. Each pack also contained one team poster card, which was folded into fourths to fit into the packs.
