Sharing the same design as the 1970 and 1972 Carnation Milk Phoenix Suns releases, this year's set only contains 5 new cards, including one of Connie Hawkins. Many of the photos are shared between the 1970, 1971 and 1972 sets, so the best way to tell them apart is by reading the player bios and matching them to the season. Some cards from the 1971 set are printed in the team's colors, purple and orange, while others are printed with blue ink on on red backgrounds.
