The images and info for this set have been shared with us from the collection of Retro Baloncesto. Cantaloup Catala is one of France's major chocolate companies and has been in business since 1927. In the 1950s they started releasing cards with their products and corresponding albums to paste them in. Album No. 6 was released around 1960 and includes their first sport card releases. The "Jeux Antiques Et Sports Modernes" section contains 48 cards, with a mix of ancient games and modern sports. Card No. 238 is the only card to feature basketball. The cards all have a light embossed Cantaloup circle seal. There are 300 cards total in the set.
