1959 Futbol Po-Po

This unique set of disc cards was placed into a cooresponding circular-shaped album called "Futbol Po-Po". While most of the cards feature soccer players, there are also a handful of basketball cards in the set, as well as many cards featuring historical figures. At the time, the Casa Crack publishing house owned exclusive rights to the soccer card industry in Argentina (similar to Panini's agreement with the NBA in recent years), so Editorial Po-Po creatively dodged licensing issues avoiding the use of the players names and including lots of spelling errors. Apparently not all of the cards even correspond to real athletes who were in each club at that time.
