1957-70 J.D. McCarthy Postcards

These black and white postcards were produced from 1957-1970 by J.D. McCarthy, a Detroit-based company. Nearly all of the baskebtall postcards feature players from the Detroit Pistons, however three of the postcards feature HOF forward Rick Barry (two depicting him in a Warriors jersey and one in an Oakland Oaks ABA jersey). Most of the fronts of the cards include fascimile autographs, but a handful just include generic text of the player's name. There are different variants of the backs of the postcards, including some which are blanks and some which feature more traditional postcard markings such as this.
