1949 Cracker Jack Sport Yesterday and Today

Country of origin: Canada
Size: 3" x 2-1/2"

While this is routinely called a Cracker Jack set, that’s only partially true. The set was actually issued by Lowney’s, a popular candy company in Canada. Lowney’s received a contract from Cracker Jack to produce that snack in Canada. A collectible album was also available to host the cards. Only two basketball cards exist in the set. PSA recognizes this set as being from 1949 but the dates are still disputed.
